Jakarta, 24 September 2025 — The Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) and CIS Exhibition have officially launched ARCH:ID 2026, Indonesia’s most awaited architecture forum and trade event, scheduled to take place from 23 to 26 April 2026 at ICE BSD City. Curated by Ar. Afwina Kamal, IAI, (Hadiprana Design), Ar. Trianzani Sulshi, IAI, (Studio Aliri), and Ar. Dhanie Syawalia, IAI, (Dhanie & Sal), ARCH:ID 2026 unveils the curatorial theme “Skema Sintesa: Arsitektur Keterlibatan” – Ruang sebagai Titik-tutur Kolektif (Synthesis Scheme: Architecture of Engagement). This concept reframes architectural practice as a collaborative ecology, where knowledge flows across disciplines and boundaries are deliberately blurred. With more than 31,000 qualified visitors expected, alongside 800 conference delegates and 800 booths, ARCH:ID 2026 offers unmatched visibility, strategic networking, and high-value business opportunities.

The curators see ARCH:ID as a platform that fosters collaboration between architects and key industry players, ranging from building materials and construction technology to certification bodies and government associations. About the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI)

The IAI was officially established on September 17, 1959, in Bandung. Now, at its 61st year, IAI boasts a membership of more than 20,500 architects registered through 34 provincial administrations, 1 representative administration, and 4 regional administrations spread across Indonesia, with the youngest provincial administration in Maluku, which was declared on August 19, 2017. IAI is active in international activities through its membership in ARCASIA (Architects Regional Council of Asia) since 1972 and in UIA (Union Internationale des Architectes) since 1974, as well as AAPH (Asean Association Planning and Housing), where IAI is one of the founders. Since the enactment of Law No. 6/2017 about Architects, IAI is the only Professional Architect Organization recognized by the State.
