Jakarta, Indonesia – [23 April 2026] – ARCH:ID, Indonesia’s most awaited architecture forum and trade event, officially opened its sixth edition on 23 April 2026 at Hall 6, ICE BSD City. The opening was officially marked by a traditional dance performance, followed by a symbolic gong striking led by Director of Architecture and Design, Ministry of Creative Economy, Megawati Panjaitan.

The opening was attended by key figures representing the architecture ecosystem and the exhibition industry, including Ar. Georgius Budi Yulianto, IAI, AA, Chairman of the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI); the ARCH:ID 2026 curators–Ar. Afwina Kamal, IAI, Ar. Trianzani Sulshi, IAI, and Ar. Dhanie Syawalia, IAI; as well as ARCH:ID Program Director Firman Setia Herwanto, President of CIS Malaysia Vincent Lim, Country Director of CIS Indonesia Linda Leoni, and Project Director Raden Arief Sofyan Rudiantoro.

Organized by Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) in collaboration with CIS Exhibition, ARCH:ID 2026 is held from April 23–26, 2026 at ICE BSD City. Now in its sixth edition, the event carries the theme “Skema Sintesa: Arsitektur Keterlibatan” (Synthesis Scheme: Architecture of Engagement), reflecting its focus on collaboration across disciplines.

This year, ARCH:ID expands significantly in scale, featuring 725 booths and more than 180 exhibitors across an 18,000 sqm exhibition area. In addition to the exhibition, the event presents an International Conference with 8 keynote speakers, 90 talk series sessions, and over 220 speakers from Indonesia and abroad, alongside a curated lineup of programs including Featured Exhibitions, Business Matching, a Hackathon competition, and the Best Booth Award, and is supported by Byo Living as strategic partner.

This year, ARCH:ID introduces a Curated Spatial Experience through the Tetenger concept, transforming the exhibition into a series of thoughtfully designed zones rather than conventional booths. Areas such as Tetenger Riung for gathering, Tetenger Rembuk for discussion, Tetenger Teduh for rest and reflection, Tetenger Tutur for storytelling, and Tetenger Siar for media engagement are complemented by Tetenger Rehat and Tetenger Luar. Supported by communal Angkringan spaces and an Alun-alun concept, the exhibition creates a human-centered environment that encourages interaction, dialogue, and cultural exchange, offering visitors a more immersive and meaningful spatial experience.

More than 60 architects across generations—including Andra Matin, Muhammad Sagitha, M. Ikhsan Hamiru, and Artiandi Akbar—are involved in designing the 8,090-square-meter exhibition area through a collaborative curatorial approach, together with communities such as Ibu Arsitek, IALRC, and Scootarch. The collaboration at this year’s ARCH:ID also expands beyond architecture, involving lighting designers, graphic designers, product designers, and landscape architects, as well as support from various professional associations, including the Indonesian Interior Designers Association (HDII), Indonesian Lighting Engineers Association (HTII), Indonesian Landscape Architects Association (IALI), Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), Indonesian Product Designer Alliance (ADPII), Indonesian Ceramic Industry Association (ASAKI), and the Indonesian Solar Energy Association (AESI).

ARCH:ID 2026 also presents a two-day international conference held on 23–24 April 2026, divided into two sessions: the Urban Forum and the Architectural Forum. The conference features international speakers such as Florence Chan (Hong Kong), Manuelle Gautrand (France), Marina Tabassum (Bangladesh)–an Aga Khan for Architecture Awards recipient, and Agnes Soh (Singapore), offering diverse perspectives ranging from public space design to climate-responsive architecture.

Meanwhile, Indonesian speakers include Irene Umar, Vice Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia; Diana Kusumastuti, Vice Minister of Public Works and Housing of the Republic of Indonesia; as well as Isha Hening as a visual artist and Helen Agustine as an architect, collectively presenting cross-disciplinary perspectives that continue to evolve.

ARCH:ID: Connecting Brands, Architects, and Practitioners

As a curated B2B exhibition, ARCH:ID serves as a strategic platform for product launches, product sourcing, and discovering the latest innovations in the architecture, design, and built environment industry. The exhibition not only provides a space for exchanging insights but also facilitates the exploration of cutting-edge materials, technologies, and solutions relevant to project needs.

The range of featured products at ARCH:ID includes renewable and sustainable architecture, smart building technologies, modular solutions, BIM (Building Information Modelling), as well as architectural, interior, building material, surface, and finishing products, underscoring a strong commitment to sustainable practice and the future of environmentally responsible architecture.

Through its program lineup, ARCH:ID fosters collaboration between brands, architects, and cross-disciplinary practitioners to enhance design quality while strengthening communication strategies and business development.

This year, ARCH:ID 2026 once again presents its Business Matching program, designed to connect industry professionals such as architects, interior designers, developers, and project owners with exhibitor brands through curated 1-on-1 meetings. The program enables more relevant and efficient connections for exploring collaborations, sourcing products, and advancing project development. With a focused approach, Business Matching ensures that every meeting has real potential to lead to meaningful business opportunities and long-term partnerships.

In addition, the Hackathon program is presented as a collaborative design competition that brings together multidisciplinary students to tackle architectural challenges in an intensive setting. Carrying the theme “Synthesis in Action,” the program integrates Autodesk Forma, Rhinoceros, and SketchUp within a unified workflow. Participants work in teams to develop innovative solutions, from understanding context to design realization, highlighting architecture as a collaborative practice in the digital era.

ARCH:ID 2026 is expected to attract approximately 31,000 visitors over its four-day run, serving as a key platform for professionals to connect and collaborate.

Registration for exhibition visits is available at arch.id/visit2026, while conference tickets can be purchased at arch.id/conference2026, providing access to a series of discussions, presentations, and idea exchanges among cross-disciplinary practitioners and thinkers.
